The hotel had a strategic location for exploring restaurants and shopping, providing easy access to the vibrant Key West atmosphere. However, the rooms lacked soundproofing and natural light, making them somewhat gloomy. The service was exceptional, offering valuable guidance on local attractions and a delightful happy hour with complimentary drinks and snacks.
Waking up to the bright morning outside my room was a refreshing experience, but the street lights and porch lights made it hard to darken the room for sleep. There was a noticeable strange smell that could use better ventilation. The service was exceptional, feeling more like meeting new friends than interacting with staff. The location was perfect, surrounded by peaceful surroundings but lacking attractive views of concrete pavement. The dining experience offered a variety of delicious items, though the meals were smaller than expected.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were excellent, very comfortable, and had new hardwood floors and furniture. The hotel is located in an old house which added to its charm. The service was top-notch, with the staff being exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location was superb, close to all the happening places in Key West. However, the dining experience was a bit lacking compared to other options in the area.
